LISA NICKEL, President

​​​Lisa has over twenty years of land development experience, the majority of which has been with large scale master-planned communities in the Greater Houston area.  Prior to forming Genesis in 2011, Lisa served as Vice President for Hillwood Communities, a Perot company headquartered in Dallas, Texas.  She oversaw the company’s projects in the Houston area, including the 3,800-acre property in Missouri City, Fort Bend County known as  Sienna South and the 468-acre  Rocky Creek community in Austin, Texas.  Lisa also served as Vice President of Operations for Newland Communities, the nation’s largest private developer of planned residential and urban mixed-use communities in the United States.  During her nine-year tenure at Newland, Lisa led all aspects of community development for  Cinco SouthwestSeven MeadowsGrayson Lakes and  Summerwood.
